Coach Valenza has spent the last 40 years coaching travel and high school lacrosse.  Along with his coaching responsibilities Valenza served as the Community Liaison for Howard County Lacrosse Program for 5 years.   Valenza was a four-year player on the 1980 UMBC Men’s National Championship team.  He was a USCLA All-Star with the Maryland Lacrosse Club in 1986. Member of the Baltimore Thunder National Lacrosse League Championship Team in 1987.  Throughout his high school and travel lacrosse career, Valenza coached numerous athletes that continued to play at NCAA D1, D2 and D3 levels, including all five of his children.
