- The Short Story: The Carroll Lynx struck for two first half goals, but were unable to match the Hagerstown Hawks by the score of 3-2.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Hagerstown scored first in the 15th minute of the game to put the Lynx down early.
- Haley Greenwade answered back seven minutes later as she put the Hawks defense on skates to tie the game up at 1-1.
- Brenna Murphy scored her first of the season four minutes later on a set piece play to take a 2-1 lead for Carroll.
- Unfortunately, the Hawks were able to tack on two goals in the second half as late chances by the Lynx were unable to find the back of the net.
GAME NOTES
- Greenwade scored a team leading seventh goal of the season, as she tallied eight shots in the game with six being on goal.
- Saige Coufal-Shifflet and Lana O'Donnell each put two shots on goal as the Lynx did a good job of attacking from multiple angles in the game.
- Chloe Herpel accumulated four saves while playing behind another great performance by the Lynx defensive line.
