Carroll Shows Resilience in Win

Carroll completed another 3-0 sweep on Wednesday, defeating the Anne Arundel Riverhawks.

The contest was highly competitive despite the 3-0 set score, with set 2 ending 26-24 and set 3 ending 25-23. There were multiple times the Lynx had to claw back from a deficit to win sets, including coming back from 18-22 in the second set.

Karley Badorf showed off her dominance in all facets of the game, posting 16 kills with 11 digs and four aces. Maria Acaron contributed her fair share of offense, finishing the contest with 12 kills. Payton Zepp and Sophia DiMaggio kept plenty of points off the board, tallying 11 and 16 digs respectively.

"The communication and cohesiveness of this group is amazing" noted Head Coach Teri Leatherwood. "They showed a lot of resilience and the moment never got too big for them. I am very proud of how they played today."
