The Lynx have had 3-0 victories in their previous two contests, on Friday against Westmoreland and on Monday against Baltimore City.
Vs. Westmoreland
Carroll ended last week against Westmoreland, winning 25-12, 25-17, and 25-19. Karley Badorf and Maria Acaron led the offense, both ending the match with 8 kills. Sophia DiMaggio had 9 digs, controlling the defense. Abigail Morley had herself a game, posting 28 assists with 2 kills and 2 digs.
Vs. Baltimore City
The Lynx returned home on Monday with an overall dominating performance, winning 25-3, 25-11, and 25-11. Carroll combined for 22 aces, including Sophia DiMaggio with 4 and Alma Huffer with 3. Karley Badorf led the charge offensively with 10 kills while Lauren Guariglia and Maria Acaron tagged along with 4 and 5 kills. Maddie Maggio and Payton Zepp recorded 7 assists each, leading the team.
After yesterday’s 1-3 lose to Southern Maryland, the Lynx will look to get back on track Friday, October 13th when then travel to Howard. Be sure to join us next Thursday, October 19th for our final home game against Hagerstown where we will be packing Pantherplex!
