• The Short Story: The Carroll Lynx were overpowered by their local rivals as the Frederick Cougars took advantage in a big second half.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Lynx got out to a less than ideal start, giving up a goal in the second minute of the game. 
• From there, the Lynx were able to stabalize their footing in the game for the next 30 minutes as they created chances and held Frederick.
• The Cougars would go on to score twice in the later stages of the first half including a goal with just two second left before halftime.
• Six more second half goals put the game to rest as the Lynx were unable to find a goal.

GAME NOTES

• James Stevens got the start in goal for the Lynx, making 13 saves in the contest.
• Daniel Wojtkowiak and Edwin Alfaro led the team with five shots each while Raymond Lema and Julio Batista added two each.
