Jay McClenahan has had a soccer ball in his hands (or at his feet) since the age of 3 and has been a local area soccer coach and trainer for recreational, select-level, and travel teams for various age groups.  In addition to his role as the Women's Head Coach, he is the Carroll Lynx Men's Assistant Coach.

He is also currently serving as the Commissioner for Freedom Optimist Soccer, managing a local soccer program with over 1,300 players that range from age 3 to High School. He has a passion for instilling the love of the game while working hard to develop players and coaches within the league.

Off the field, Jay works in the Information Technology field for a national healthcare company and resides in Sykesville, MD.
