• The Short Story: The Carroll Lynx lost their first match of the season in a well fought four set thriller.                  

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Lynx jumped out to a great start to the match, winning the first set while hitting with good efficiency. 
• Penn State York took advantage of Lynx miscues from there as they were able to win the next three sets in a row to hand Carroll their first loss of the year.
• Both the second and fourth sets went to a 26-24 score, showcasing the proximity of these two teams.

GAME NOTES

• Karley Badorf hit for 17 kills and picked up 14 digs and 2.5 blocks along with eight aces.
• Emily McElwaine crushed five kills while Hannah Breen, Lauren Guariglia, and Miriam Zuazo all added four kills each.
• Sophia DiMaggio collected a season high 16 digs in a strong game for the sophomore libero.
