WESTMINSTER, MD - Year two of women's volleyball has been a resounding success for the Carroll Lynx as they have exceeded all expectations by advancing to the quarterfinals of the Region 20 Division II tournament.

After a debut season where Carroll finished with a respectable 7-9 season, the Lynx took it to another level in 2024 as they currently sport a 10-8 record. That was good enough to earn qualification into the regional tournament as the #7 seed, hosting the #10 seed Anne Arundel Riverhawks in the first ever postseason game in program history. After an exciting 3-0 win over the Riverhawks in the play-in round, the Lynx move on to the quarterfinals where they will take on tournament hosts and #2 seed Montgomery College. That match will take place on Saturday, November 2 at 11 AM.

There will be a $5 admission charge per day for all spectators at Montgomery College for the volleyball tournament, with the ability to purchase tickets in advance at:  https://www.tix.com/ticket-sales/MCAthletics/7090. Cash will not be accepted at the venue, all tickets must be purchased online.

If the Lynx were to win, they would advance to the semi-finals which would take place on Sunday, November 3 at 11 AM. The finals of the regional championship are set to take place in the afternoon of November 3.
