Evan Appleby has earned Athlete of the Week honors after two great performances for Carroll golf!

On Tuesday, Evan tied for first overall at the South River Shootout, scoring a 37 in the nine-hole match. At the Carroll Classic on Thursday, he shot 88 and placed twelfth in the thirty-man group.

"Evan had a great week of practice so it was no surprise he shot so well this week" said Head Coach Lee Bopst. "He has proven that he can compete with the best in this region on any given week."

Bopst also praised the other returning sophomore's, Kamden Estes and Zach Taylor, both of whom shot 84 on Thursday. "It is so great to have sophomore leadership like Evan, Kamden, and Zach who I can rely on week in and week out. They all performed great this week and I could not be prouder."
