The Lynx men's lacrosse team lost a tough regional game on Wednesday, March 30th to the Potomac State Catamounts 11-21.

After the game, Head Coach Brady Slater noted, "Collectively, tonight was not our night. Overall, we just need to do a better job functioning as a team. Tomorrow we start to prepare for our Friday contest versus Mercer."

Assistant Coach Jim Long gave a similar sentiment, stating, "We struggled on the defense and gave up way too many goals. The faceoff wins were great but unfortunately getting the ball off the faceoff did not help our cause."

Despite the down day for the team, Latif Yacoubou continued his dominance for the Lynx, putting up five goals with an assist. That leaves him at an impressive 22 points through four games. Fellow attackman Jake Kanther had a good day as well, accounting for three points off a man down goal and two assists. Kanther currently leads the team in assists with nine.

The Lynx come back home for a game on Friday, April 1st against Mercer and hit the road again to face Dickinson Club on Sunday, April 3rd.
