Lynx Lose Close Game

Carroll played its sixth game of the season on Saturday, losing a close game against Mercer County 2-1.

The Lynx scored early in the contest on a penalty kick by Daniel Wojtkowiak in the 20th minute. They took the lead into the half, ending the period 1-0.

Carroll held onto their lead until the 77th minute where Mercer answered back, tying the game at 1-1. On a last-ditch attack in the 88th minute, Mercer scored on an unexpected shot in the corner of the field, ending the contest 1-2.

The Lynx will be back home in a contest against Cecil on Thursday, September 21st at 4 PM.
