• The Short Story: The Carroll Lynx were unable to threaten the vaunted Raptors goal as they fell 10-0 in the season opener.

                                                               
HOW IT HAPPENED
 

• The Lynx came out of the gates with energy, playing the first 10 minutes to an even stand still with the powerful Raptors squad.
• Montgomery eventually broke open the gates, going on to score seven first half goals and three more after halftime.
• Two of the Lynx's goalies made their debut today with freshmen Elijah Wormley and Jake Wolfe combining to make eight saves in the game. 

GAME NOTES

• Sophomores Raymond Lema, Daniel Wojtkowiak and Jeshua Jerusalem all had strong efforts despite the one-sided result.
• Edwin Alfaro gave a good effort up front in his first collegiate contest with fellow first timers Kyle Kinsey and Giancarlo Batista.

UP NEXT

• The Lynx will see their first home match of the season on Tuesday, August 27th at 4 PM when they take on the Potomac State Catamounts.
