"Our athletes are starting to peak at just the right time, at the end of the season and for the conference championship meet on Wednesday," explained Coach Amanda Milewski. "Their performances demonstrate that despite the young age of the program and the small numbers of the team, Lynx athletes are competitive in regional competition both in the NJCAA and the NCAA."

"It is exciting to see the athletes' months of hard work paying off," noted Coach Justin Metzger. "Some of them started prepping for the spring season in the fall which helped them be more competitive with athletes who compete during the indoor track and field season (from December through January)."

The team will attend the Region 20 and MD JUCO Championships on Wednesday, May 1st, hosted by Howard Community College. The meet is the first Region 20 and MD JUCO Championship meet in over ten years.
